Yesterday I finally got to sign the contract of my new flat. The annoying thing about commuting is that nothing is still open when you get back home – such as estate agents – who won’t hand over the keys until you have signed and initialled every page of the contract. Day before yesterday tried in vain to reach the estate agents before it shut but it was really not my day – half four train was cancelled and there was something down on the line so all trains were terminating at my stop (even if they didn’t normally stop) causing chaos.
The main signing of the contract I left (dangerously) to my boyfriend he sorted out the payments, ID checks, Insurance etc. Yesterday’s xkcd’s comic really fitted the bill so I will share it here (click picture to enlarge):
Again must dash to work – but I shall be writing a series of posts about organising the move soon.
